Udayana University's Public Health Gurus Dive into Digital Health Training for a Tech-Fueled Tomorrow!

In a significant stride towards embracing the digital era in public health education, Udayana University's Master of Public Health (MPH) provided opportunity for lecturers to increase their capacity in the Digital Health. The training is performed in continuation of the national meeting of the Indonesia Association of Higher Education of Public Health (AIPTKMI), took place from November 12 to 14, 2023, heralding a new chapter in the university's commitment to advancing the vision and mission of its academic pursuits.


A total of 60 eager participants, hailing from diverse regions across Indonesia, engaged in the comprehensive training program. The Udayana University delegation, led by Sang G Purnama and Luh Seriani, actively contributed to and benefited from this initiative. It's not just a training; it's a journey into the future of public health education!


The training covered a spectrum of crucial topics essential for understanding and navigating the landscape of digital public health. Participants delved into the meaning and conceptualization of digital public health, explored digital surveillance methodologies, and gained insights into cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. The sessions also encompassed the integration of digital learning in various health disciplines, including health promotion, epidemiology, environmental health, and reproductive health. Additionally, the training provided in-depth knowledge on digital data security and policy, along with practical guidance on implementing health information systems in community health centers and hospitals.
