On Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Prof. Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, Udayana University Medical Faculty, a guest lecture was held. This guest lecture was given by two experts in their fields, namely the topic of Tuberculosis (development of problems and interventions and opportunities for development) and the topic of diabetes (development of problems and potential of local food in dealing with them)

The first topic was presented by dr. RR. Sri Ratna Rahayu, M.Kes., Ph.D (Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Semarang State University Medical Faculty) while the second topic was presented by Prof. Dr. dr. Oktia Woro Kasmini H, M.Kes (Coordinator of the Public Health Doctoral Study Program). In the first topic, it was conveyed that Dr. Ayu (Doctor RR Rahayu's nickname) explained the results of her research in capturing TB cases through the SIKRIBO application. Mobile-based TB screening system application, web-based Sikribo, client-based Sikribo This application is an application in Managing data and application configuration. Doctor Ayu explained again that the application is still weak in screening TB cases.

The Second Topic explains about diabetes problems and interventions using local food potential. Her research emphasizes one of the potential local foods that can treat diabetes, namely sweet potatoes in addition to Bran, pumpkin, and Porang flour. The selection of local food ingredients is based on their Glycemic Index value.

Sweet potatoes have low KH content, the highest fiber is sufficient, and the protein is high enough. There are still opportunities or potential for further intervention development in efforts to treat diabetes problems
