Exciting Year-End Event Wraps Up 2023 at the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine

Denpasar, December 29, 2023 – The year-end celebration for the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (KMKP) was held at the Cakra Vidya Usadha Building, 2nd Floor. The event, hosted by the Public Health and Master's Program in Public Health under the KMKP Department. The event kicked off with impactful messages, resolutions, and reflections to be more positive in the year 2024. Professors, senior faculties lecturers, the Master's Program coordinator, the Bachelor's Program coordinator, and the Head of the KMKP Department, shared their positive insights for 2024.

The festivities continued with a delightful potluck lunch featuring contributions from faculty members. As the lunch concluded, the eagerly anticipated gift exchange took centre stage. Each faculty member had prepared a gift, and a numbered paper determined the order in which they could choose. Every number entitled the holder to select one gift and exchange it with three numbers above theirs. The day culminated in a group photo session, capturing the joyous moments.

The event concluded with entertaining games to distribute year-end gifts, specially arranged by Dr. dr. Dyah Pradnyaparamita Duarsa, M.Si., in recognition of her retirement in 2024. Despite its simplicity, the event played a crucial role in fostering camaraderie among faculty and staff. It indirectly addressed potential communication gaps that could hinder daily work activities. 

This celebration not only marked the end of the year but also strengthened the bonds within the department, showcasing the importance of fostering unity and collaboration for a harmonious work environment.
