Audit Mutu Internal Tahun 2024 di Program Studi Magister Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat

Denpasar, 20 September 2024 - Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University conducted an internal quality audit for Master Study Program of Public Health, as a proactive move to continually increase the quality of its learning, education, and community service.

The audit team comprising Dr. dr. I Wayan Juli Sumadi, S.Ked, Sp.P.A, Subsp. M.S.(K), as a lead auditor; accompanied by Dr. Ns. Ika Widi Astuti, S.Kep.,M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Mat. and dr. Gede Wirata, M.Biomed. The Study Program Coordinator, Dr. dr. Anak Agung Sagung Sawitri attended via online, however the study program quality assurance team lead by Dinar Saurmauli Lubis, SKM, MPH, PHD were attended in persons. The audit delved into various aspects of the program, both academic and non-academic.

The primary aim of this audit was to monitor the performance of the Masters study program of public health, ensuring it maintains its position as a leading institution in delivering quality education to students and extending its services to the community and stakeholders. The audit commenced with an informative session, during which the Audit Team Chair elucidated the audit's purpose and methodology. Subsequently, the team presented its initial findings and provided an opportunity for the program coordinators and staff to address any concerns or clarify points.

Key findings from the audit revealed several areas requiring attention. Some issues were categorized as OB (Observations), implying that activities had been carried out, but proper documentation was lacking. The recent quality audit revealed several key insights into the ongoing performance and operational processes. The audit team identified areas of strength, including consistent adherence to established protocols and an overall positive trend in service delivery. However, there were also a few areas for improvement, particularly in the documentation and follow-up procedures, which require greater attention to detail. Recommendations were made to enhance training programs for staff, ensuring they are fully equipped with the latest knowledge and tools for quality improvement. In addition, the audit highlighted the need for more robust systems in place to monitor and evaluate outcomes on a continuous basis. Moving forward, corrective actions are being implemented to address these gaps, with a strong focus on elevating the overall quality of services provided.


The internal audit acts as an important tool for the study program, offering an early warning system for identifying issues that need to be addressed or followed up on at various levels—within the study program, faculty, and university. By promptly addressing these concerns, Udayana University aims to better position itself for external quality audits and improve its service quality for both students and the community. The audit concluded with the signing of the audit minutes and a memorable group photo, representing the shared dedication to academic excellence and community service. The Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University continues its unwavering efforts to uphold its esteemed reputation as a center of educational and community excellence.
