Academic Exchange Explores Tuberculosis-Diabetes Comorbidity: Insights and Implications for Public Health Initiatives

Australia National University's collaborative efforts with the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University have yielded fruitful outcomes, culminating in a noteworthy academic event held on Friday, March 22, 2024. Spearheaded by the Bachelor and Master of Public Health Science Study Program, the event centered on a thought-provoking guest lecture titled "Diabetes Tuberculosis Comorbidity: A Threat to the End-TB Program."


Taking place at the esteemed Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah hall, the lecture featured Dr. Matthew Kelly, a senior research fellow from the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH), College of Health and Medicine, Australian National University. Guiding the intellectual discourse were esteemed moderators, Dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, MPH, PhD, and Dr. I Nyoman Sutarsa, MPH, PhD.


The event commenced with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. I Md.
