Udayana University's Koneksi Research Undergoes Rigorous Quality Assurance Monitoring by National Innovation Research Agency
In a significant development for Udayana University's Master's Program in Community Health Sciences in term of the Koneksi Research entitled: “Climate Resilient Primary Health Care (PHC) and Sustainable Financing Systems in Indonesia: A Participatory Action Research (PAR)”, the team welcomed a distinguished delegation from the National Innovation Research Agency (BRIN) led by Prof. Rustika. The visit, aimed at ensuring the quality of the ongoing Koneksi Research, marks a crucial step in the collaboration between the Master's Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and the School of Medicine and Psychology at the Australian National University.
The monitoring visit took place at Puskesmas II Abang in Karangasem Regency in 4-5 December 2023, a key study location for the Koneksi Research. The Udayana University team, along with the Head of Puskesmas Abang II and team, as well as representative from the Karangasem District Health Office, actively participated in the meeting. The session commenced with a presentation on the progress of the study by the Head of the Koneksi Research Team at Udayana University, Dr. A.A. Sagung Sawitri, MPH.
During the meeting, Prof. Rustika and the BRIN team posed insightful questions regarding the execution of the study, addressing any challenges faced by the researchers. Additionally, the BRIN team provided valuable insights into the latest regulations concerning data storage obligations at the national data storage center after the completion of the research.
The proactive readiness of the Udayana University Koneksi Research team to undergo external monitoring is a testament to their commitment to ensuring the continuous and sustainable quality of the Master's Program in Community Health Sciences. This effort aligns with the principles of the Three Pillars of Higher Education, emphasizing education, research, and community service.
